DESCRIPTION:Yoga nidra is a meditative form of yogic sleep where we lie down completely relaxed and allow a withdraw of our senses. This brings the mind out of consciousness but not quite into sleep\, it will feel like a deep meditation. The practice of yoga nidra guided by Colleen Gallick includes a full-body scan and guided meditation to encourage all systems of the body to slow down. In the salt cave we will lie in zero gravity chairs\, sit surrounded by salt and breathe while salt is diffused into the air helping to open airways and relax your body from the inside out. Feel free to bring a mat if you wish to lie on the floor.

SUMMARY:Yoga Nidra Meditation in the Tranquility Salt Cave
DESCRIPTION:Yoga nidra is a meditative form of yogic sleep where we lie down completely relaxed and allow a withdraw of our senses. This brings the mind out of consciousness but not quite into sleep\, it will feel like a deep meditation. The practice of yoga nidra includes a full-body scan and guided meditation to encourage all systems of the body to slow down. In the salt cave we will lie in zero gravity chairs\, sit surrounded by salt and breathe while salt is diffused into the air helping to open airways and relax your body from the inside out. Feel free to bring a mat if you wish to lie on the floor.

In the Tranquility Salt Cave\, we will use different sound vibrations to realign our energy. The seven crystal singing bowls vibrate at the different frequencies of the musical scale which also correspond to our chakras (the body’s energy centers.) Colleen Gallick will lead you through a restorative practice to balance our chakras one pose at a time while adding in a layer of vibration in each pose. We will end in a resting pose and enjoy a sound bath of tones played in a song for full-body alignment and ease.

At the Geode Dome & Colleen Gallick will lead our practice of meditation in motion with 108 sun salutations (9 sets of 12) and before each set of salutations we will set an intention to bring purpose into our practice.
